Privacy policy
We collect only what we need to sell and deliver your order and support you afterwards. We never sell your data. Payment details are handled by Safaricom (M-PESA) and Paystack, not stored by us. Under Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019 you can access, correct or delete your data: email onetechcomputers2@gmail.com and we aim to respond within 30 days.

Who we are
OneTech Computers Limited is an electronics retailer based in Nairobi, Kenya, and the data controller for personal data collected through onetechcomputers.com. Contact: onetechcomputers2@gmail.com.
What we collect
- What you give us: name, phone number, email (optional at checkout), delivery address and order details; account details if you register.
- Forms you choose to send: the email or phone number for a stock or price alert, your email for the newsletter, the order number and phone number you use to track an order, and, for a business quote, your organisation, name, email, phone, county and (optional) KRA PIN.
- What your activity creates: orders, returns, wishlist, cart and recently viewed products (kept on your device, and in your account when you are signed in), and, with your consent, analytics about pages viewed and searches.
- Technical data: browser type, IP address and referring page, collected through essential cookies and server logs. Your IP address is also used to limit repeated sign-in and form attempts.
- Anonymous performance measurements: how fast each page loads and responds (the measurement, the type of page, your device class and connection type). They carry no cookies, no identifiers and no addresses, so they cannot be linked to you.
We do not collect sensitive personal data such as biometrics, health data or national ID numbers, and we never buy marketing lists. We never see your M-PESA PIN or card number.
How we use it
- To process and deliver your orders, including payment and delivery coordination (contract).
- To send order, payment and delivery updates by SMS or email (contract).
- To provide support, warranty and returns (contract, legitimate interest).
- To improve the site, with analytics only if you consent (consent).
- To send offers, only if you opted in; unsubscribe at any time (consent).
- To meet legal obligations such as tax records and fraud prevention (legal obligation).
We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act 2019 you can access, correct, delete or move your personal data, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time.
Send your request
Email onetechcomputers2@gmail.com with your name, the email or phone number you used with us, and what you want: a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or to stop a use of it.
We confirm it is you
We may ask you to reply from the email or phone number on your account or order, so nobody else can get your data. We only ask for what we need to check.
We reply
We aim to respond within 30 days and tell you if we need longer and why. Some records we must keep by law (for example order records for tax) even after you ask us to delete them; we tell you which.
You can correct your name, phone and addresses yourself in your account, and withdraw analytics or preferences consent at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Payment credentials never reach our servers. Sign-in uses short-lived tokens and secure, HTTP-only cookies. Access to customer data is restricted to staff who need it. Report security issues to onetechcomputers2@gmail.com.
